Vetrerie Riunite S.p.A. is an Italian glass manufacturer making products in pressed glass for the home & table, and for the perfumery and automobile industries.
The company was originally established in 1905, with its first plant in Turin, Italy and with a second plant in Colognola ai Colli, Verona, established in the early 70’s, which has grown in importance to become the head office and centre of operations of the group.
A short time before the end of the last millennium the production of Houseware was introduced specifically dedicated to table and giftware. The Vetri delle Venezie Business Unit was set up for the sales and marketing of this product line, with the introduction of the brand names EGO and Alter, to better promote this ambitious project that required state-of-the-art technology, quality and creativity for products diverse in design but united by the same passion for glass. The company has sustained significant grown and with this, the affirmation of the Vetri delle Venezie collection both at home and abroad, the opening of the new sale department in Montevarchi, near Arezzo, Italy and, in 2011, the launch of the new on-line store.
